A visionary fashion designer, the father of ‘Space Age Fashion’. His influence in 60s fashion is undeniable - his modern geometric silhouettes, his obsession with circles and clinical white, his fresh and playful way of looking at things. Credited with being one of the first designers to use PVC and plastic in his collections, developing the Go Go Moon boot and inspiring countless future designers, myself included.

This is a linen piece featuring remnant kangaroo leather scraps that I salvaged. I love the playfulness of this dress. Incredibly risqué it was a completely new way for women to express themselves through fashion.

Embroidery on linen featuring Kangaroo leather remnants. Featuring the highly innovative cut out dress designed by fashion designer Courrèges.

Framed in Tas Oak
